On September 26 we will have Sunday morning worship at Franklinton Park. (The service will start at 11:00am.) This is going to be an incredible opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and our town to worship with us. Plan on staying after the service for some fellowship and food!

Share your story

This years high power soccer camp will be held at Union View on August 2 – 6. Each day’s activities begin at 6:00 pm and end at 8:30 pm. The camp hosts children from 5 years old through 6th grade. Each day campers learn soccer skills, eat a light supper (sandwich and chips), have a time of teaching and music, and end with at least 30 minutes of scrimmages. Parents and family are encouraged to come for the last 30 minutes of each night to watch campers play. If you have any questions please contact the church at 919.494.5101.

***Currently we are taking a 5 week break from Deuteronomy. We’ll pick back up in chapter 9 the first week in October.

When you think Deuteronomy you probably think ‘law’ at best and ‘boring, dry, or painful’ at worst. But what if we understood Deuteronomy to be a book about man’s helpless inability to live a good life and God’s overwhelming plan of love to put his truth in our hearts? What if we saw Deuteronomy as an incredible opportunity to learn first hand the true character of humanity and the true character of God? Join us this Sunday at 11 am as we study through the book of Deuteronomy.

Each Sunday we come together as the body of Christ to worship God. Engaging God is crucial for anyone striving to live the Christian life. God knew this from the beginning and graciously provided a place for the community of believers to seek Him together. Each Sunday we strive to engage God with our heart, mind, and passion through singing and studying God’s word. Join us this week, Sunday at 11:00am.

Children’s ministry is important at Union View because kids are made in the image of God and can have a life saving relationship with Jesus. Like everything else, our children’s ministry is aimed at helping children know and delight in Christ. We strive to make that happen in three ways.

Children’s small groups

Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45 we have a ministry geared for children that includes music, interactive teaching, and learning activities. Kids ages 4 through 6th grade start off in a large group and then split into smaller groups for teaching. (we have some adult small groups during that time for parents)

Quarterly events

Once a quarter the children’s ministry hosts an event for children and parents that encourages fellowship and outreach. Some events are on campus and some are not. Our next event  is Soccer Camp from August 2 – 6.

Music

Children have the opportunity to learn musical skills during the church’s monthly prayer meeting (one sunday night a month @ 6). We have a gifted, knowledgeable adults who love music and love children leading this time.

note: we provide a full nursery from birth to age 4 during our corporate worship on Sunday’s at 11 am.

The purpose for UVBC Community is to give our members an opportunity to continue building community that begins in our worship and small groups. Right now we have two main pages, one for prayer and one for small group updates.
