Pastor Jonathan was born in Simpsonville, SC and spent the first twenty-three years of his life in upstate South Carolina. He met his wife Lauren at their home church when they were both in High School. After dating for five years Jonathan married Lauren, his high school sweetheart, in 2003. After three years of service as a student pastor in Greenville, SC, they moved to Wake Forest to attend Southeastern Seminary in 2004. God blessed them with a daughter, Rebekah, in late 2009. Jonathan has been at Union View since July of 2004.

Pastor Jay was born in Montgomery, Alabama and received his Bachelor of Arts from The Baptist College of Florida. It was there that he met his wife Christina. In 2002, they were married and shortly thereafter moved to Wake Forest, NC to begin studying at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Since then, God has blessed them with three wonderful children: Maisy (6), Lily (4), and Isaac (2). He graduated with his Master of Divinity in 2006. Jay and his family have been at Union View since January of 2007.
